Hi [mention:744d8324d7c34fac98c80c792cf413a9:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] ,

I hope I understand your question. Use a shared database. You can connect Appian to an external database which is shared with Qlik or any other reporting tools.

Currently  in Appian , in order to make an excel or a PDF file, it's necessary to use a smart service in a process where it is possible to map fields to a template.

Could be more effective to have a tool useful to design a template and map fields directly from a database . Appian should only call a Web service passing correct paramenters in order to make download fields .

I hope the question is more clear

I did not understand your question. But looks like what you have mentioned are already available but in different parts, like Self-service analytics, IDP, Document generation, etc.

Appian's focus is the implementation and automation of operational business processes. If you need a specific functionality that is currently not part of the platform, you can easily integrate third party services.
