SAML session timeout locked to 30 minutes.

Hello everyone,

We are trying to make sure SAML users, if idle, logout after 60 minutes.

But for some reason the timeout is set to 20  minutes.

After going through the documentation I have seen Admin console> Appian >session time out is suppose to fix it but it doesn't seem to work in my case.

Any idea where to start?

    There is an option configured at the identity provider that controls SAML timeout. Did you check this?

    Hi, could we track this under SAML tracker to check the configuration or prove it. Is there any default value that you might be aware of in SAML?

    Also, the time out has any specific behaviour for site or not? Designer or tempo does show up the signout message but not on site.

    • Idle Session Timeout (Minutes): The number of minutes that a user can remain inactive before the system signs them out. Users will be warned five minutes before their session expires. After two more minutes, if the user remains inactive, they will be signed out. The minimum valid value is 15 minutes and the maximum valid value is 480 minutes (8 hours).
