storage time of files in folders

Hi everyone, I would like to know if files in appian folders are deleted by default (and if so, how often) or not.

Also is it possible to change this time setting if there is?

Is it possible to find any related documentation on this part?

files in appian folders are deleted by default

No. 

The one sorta-caveat is, Files initially put into the Default Community / Temporary Documents Knowledge Center might have a default "expiration days", a legacy feature that's not really used anymore and hard to see or change, but even those documents that "expire" are not deleted (just harder to see or find).  I recommend avoiding this by only ever putting documents in your own folder structure that you create from scratch, BTW.
