Support Exact Phrase Matching in Object Search

Enhancement Request:

We would like to request an enhancement to Appian Designer search functionality to support exact phrase matching when searching within object types.

Currently, searching for a sentence or multi-word phrase returns results based on individual keywords, making it difficult to locate specific expressions, rules, interface text, constants, process models, or other objects containing an exact sentence.

Requested Functionality:

• Provide an option for exact phrase matching, similar to common search engines.
• Support syntax such as:
  • "Faculty Appointment Committee" (quoted phrase)
  • An "Exact Match" checkbox/filter in the search interface.
• Return only objects that contain the exact phrase in the same word order.
