Using process variables in Email smart service

Hi,

I am trying to create an email where I can use process variables in the email smart service of Appian.

How can I use the process variables in email ? Can u pls help?

You need to insert an expressionable box into the email body:

The functionality here is admittedly rather legacy.  But using the highlighted icon above will insert an "expression icon" in-line with your existing text, which you can click on to bring up an expression editor.
