KB-2083 Cleanup script removes archived kdb files when passed option to clean up log files

Symptoms

After running the Cleanup script to clean up log files, it is observed that in addition to log files, archived *.kdb files are incorrectly removed.

Sample syntax: <APPIAN_HOME>/server/_scripts/cleanup.bat(.sh) logs -delete -keep <# of days of logs kept>

The following output is observed in the terminal: 

[exec] Deleting: <APPIAN_HOME>/services/data/archived/*/*.kdb

Cause

This issue has been addressed via AN-146512 in the following hotfixes/versions:

• 19.2 Hotfix Package H
• 19.1 Hotfix Package K
• 18.4 Hotfix Package O
• 18.3 Hotfix Package R

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.

Affected Versions

This article applies to Appian 18.3 and later.
