Appian data source connectivity to Hive and Impala

We would like to know if Appian support database connectivity to Hive and Impala, if not what are the ways in which Appian support connectivity to Hive and Impala.

Appian version we are using : 21.4

AFAIK there is no native support to connect to these DBs. Is there a Web API layer available? If yes, use this.

I have to use an Impala jdbc connector with Appian, can you please suggest how to do this
