Call a SOAP WSDL from Appian

Hi Team,
I have a requirement of integrating Appian process model or integration or web api to an external SOAP WSDL environment. We  would send data from Appian to the external SOAP env and also receive data from the external environment. 

How can we do this, what are the pre-requisites for such integrations.
