CMIS Connecter with OpenText

I am recieving the following error trying to connect to OpenText

"Failed to connect to the external system [key=opentext]. The site-wide credentials may be incorrect. Please ask an administrator to update the credentials in the Third-Party Credentials page in the Administration Console. Connection failure details: Unexpected document! Received: HTML document"

    OK. Did you try to do as described in the error message?

    Yes I am sure of the credentials in the Third-Party Credentials page

    Did this work before? I do not have any recent experience connecting Appian via CMIS, but this looks like wrong credentials. Maybe the problem is not the credentials, but missing permissions on the server side.
