Integration with Dataverse

Good afternoon everyone,

As a Microsoft Power Platform Low-Code developer, I don't have any experience with creating Appian applications. Is it possible to create an Appian application on top of data that's stored in Dataverse? Or would it be more advantageous to migrate our data from Dataverse to, for instance, SQL?
