Question

Saving last updated timestamp value from SharePoint

We have an application built in Appian.

We upload documents in this application using file upload functionality.

The application is integrated with SharePoint Online.

The uploaded documents are saved in SharePoint Online and document link is created which is saved in the Appian database.

When I update this SharePoint Document in real time and save/close it, how can I immediately capture the last modified timestamp value and save it back in the Appian database.

Thanks.

Isn’t this SharePoint functionality you are using to modify the document? Then you will have to find a solution in SharePoint to send an update to Appian.

You should take a look at Sharepoint WebHooks which can send you notifications on certains types of events
