Servlet Remote Debug Session

Has anyone debugged a custom Servlet on 20.x or higher? I wanted to confirm the listener port for a remote debug session with IntelliJ / Tomcat and if there is an Appian configuration file where the port can be added or set if it is not turned on by default.
