We are on 24.2 cloud instance and facing same issue as mentioned in this link.

This link is applied only to 17.1 through 19.1 using SAML authentication, not really helpful for 24.2.

is anyone aware on how to fix this?

If i pass ?signin=native as mentioned in above link, receiving 401.

Was it working correctly in the 24.1 version and facing an issue in the 24.2 version?

Also, which authentication method(API Key, Basic, etc,) is used for Web API authentication?

If it was working in 24.1, then you should open a support case.

401 is related with Authetication... did you check that the user has rigths over the web api?
