Admin Console ] User Access

Question

There is a user who is already present in the Appian environment. If I change the last name of the user will the user cab still access the application or the user's account will get reset and the user will automatically get logged out from the respective applications and groups.
Example:
In the current situation:
User's First Name (dummy) : Vivian
User's Last Name (dummy) : Richards

The current name of the user is 'Vivian Richards' and the user is currently active in the system. I want to change the username as:
User's First Name (dummy) : Vivian
User's Last Name (dummy) : Williamson Richards

Is it possible to change without affecting the user's credential or any actions related to application's specific group.

Any inputs/solutions will be greatly appreciated.

A user is only identified by the "Username". You can change "First Name" and "Last Name" at any time without affecting the users activities.

Unless you make changes to the Username, your user will not have to re-login. Also changing the username will not effect the users permissions or the applications access unless you make those changes or if you have hardcoded the Username somewhere.
