Assistance Needed with "Tutorial: Get Soccer Stats with RPA" – Unable to Create New Data Type

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working through the "Tutorial: Get Soccer Stats with RPA" and have encountered an issue at Step 1, where we are supposed to create a new data type. Unfortunately, I am not getting the option to create it from the dropdown menu and I am getting the error message shown in the attachment. 

Has anyone else experienced this issue or could offer some guidance on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like you are using Appian Community Edition. Within the last few weeks, the ability to create Custom Data Types was disabled due to a security limitation in a shared workspace environment. Looks like this tutorial fell through the cracks with getting updated. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! 

Until a new tutorial can be created, try using Record Types in place of Custom Data Types. #ChallengeMode [emoticon:c4563cd7d5574777a71c318021cbbcc8]
