Error: Group Names already exist - Build an Application: Step-by-Step #1 (version 26)

Hello everyone!

I started the Learning Path recently and I'm having trouble in Step #1 (version: 26 Build an Application: Step-by-Step #1).

When I try to create a New Group (W0239ER Support Supervisors), it always says "Name already exists". This note appears on all objects in the W0239ER application.” → “Not in this Application”

 

 

 

Did anyone have the same issue? How can I fix it?

    That would indicate that you’ve created it before but perhaps you lost access somehow by changing the security on the group or a parent group from which it inherits.

    but I created this "Appian Community Edition” last week and only reached this set of execises yesterday. I haven’t done anything.

    Community edition is a shared instance with many people on it. Only other possibility is someone somehow created the object with the same name (accidentally) before you?
