Groups for new document channel for IDP is not getting auto created

Hi,

I am trying to create new document channel in IDP on my client environment. After submitting the name for the new document channel, I am supposed to see 4 groups in Application designers which starts with the same name as that of the new channel. These groups are to be added to the IDP application, but these are not getting created. 

I would like to know whether this is an environment issue or some configuration which has not been enabled as it is a new environment.
