How do I fix “response body could not be converted to an Appian value” in integrations?

What is the detail message you are receiving for the error?

In the integration object, set Response Body Parsing to Return raw response body, test the integration, and inspect fv!result.body. This disables JSON parsing so you can see the real payload.

This can happen when you tell Appian to convert a JSON payload to an Appian dictionary but the payload is no valid JSON.
