How do I make the Label Position Justified Wider

Question

In the component configuration - if you add a text field, or record picker or whatever - under Label Position if you use Justified or Adjacent, the length for the label appears to be static
I want to expand it out as I have a pile of fields that are like 2 letters too long and I really don't want it to word wrap
How can I make it so that it either
a) doesn't word wrap the label or
b) allows me to select how much space I want for the label
I don't see any options where I have control over this

I would love if they would add the option of setting the label width.

In the meantime, the workaround (which I don't recommend) is to separate the label from the field by using a sideBySideLayout with a richTextField for the label and the label set as collapsed on the field.
