How to create a dashboard for HR

Hi All,

Please give me sessions or some better ideas as 

I want to make a onboarding dashboard for HR. Where A HR can select the forms of candidate and get the candidate details in read only view after reviewing it 

If rejected, mail should get triggered to user informing about the rejection along with Rejection Reason
If Selected, the data will be visible to Manager

    This is a very wide use case. You are not trying to solve a problem rather you're trying to build a complete application. What ideas are you looking for? 

    Best practices, Dos and Donts, or anything else?

    I think the most important aspect is to think of this as a business process. Not something like: User goes to some screen, pushes some buttons and then magic happens.
