how to setup an email server to send an email in the process ?

Hi

im trying to understand how i need to do to setup an email server to use  Send Email service. like in the picture

now i saw in the documentation that i need to configure the email server but i dont understand where i found all what it is written there with all the configurations etc....

  1. Open (or create) <APPIAN_HOME>/conf/custom.properties.

Are you on Appian Cloud or on-premise? If you're on-premise, the custom.properties file contains most post-install configurations. I'd recommend looking at the installation guide for more information about how to create and manage that file in your repsitory. If you're still having problems, please let us know what steps you tried and what happened.

If you're on Cloud I believe you will need to open a support ticket to configure your email server.
