Not able to see "GENERATE EVENT RECORD TYPES"

I am currently practicing the Appian learning.

As a part of "Design Record Types: Model and Configure Your Data in "Build an Application - Step 5" ".

In learning document is as follows :

In community application practice environment is as follows : I can't find "Generate Event Record Types" button on click of "Events".

There are no missing precedents.

anyone facing same issue from page 17 of step 5 in learning document?

When I refresh again and opened the Vehicle Record Type, it shows different view. "Generate Event Record Types" button is disabled.

Kalyanik, Yes, I am experiencing the same issue, but I'm on page 6, I tried to add the record event to the vehicle record type but I got the same permissions message as in your screen shot. I've checked and I am in the Administrator and User groups. My app has no missing precedents. I've also synced and refreshed the record type. I'm interested if anyone has other suggestions.

From your provided screenshots, you are currently completing the steps for the Maintenance record type, but you showed that you are in your Vehicle record type. Please review the instructions and ensure that you are completing the steps listed inside the Maintenance record type.

Hi Greg, Good catch. I tried with Maintenance record type as well with same steps. Still seeing "Generate Event Record Types" is being disabled.

In this case, I would recommend checking to see if you are an Administrator in your W2956SA Administrators group. If not, add yourself then refresh. If you are still experiencing issues, reach out to community@appian.com.

Judging by the warning here looks like you might not have appropriate security to generate events for this record.

Check dependents of this record and try adding yourself to appropriate group in any of the dependent application so that you can have 'Edit' rights.

In that screenshot you shared, I can see all the required record types to support events.

From your screenshots provided, you are completing the practice steps for the Maintenance record type. However, you have provided a screenshot that shows you are in your Vehicle record type. Please review the steps listed and ensure you are completing them in your Maintenance record type.
