unable to access community edition

Hi everyone,

My team and I just started learning Appian 2 weeks ago. It was last Friday (August 16) that we noticed that community edition has been down

It is now August 19, and we still can't access community edition.

I checked the forum and read about "beta editions", I think the environment that we are using can be considered "beta edition" since we don't have access to Admin console.

I have the following questions related to this:

- Where do we get announcements/ news that the community edition would be in maintenance?

- Reading the forums, it looks like our environments would be deleted, not sure where we could official news about this.

On Friday, we launched Appian 24.3 and are currently updating all Community Edition environments to the latest version. Typically, this is as quick as pressing a button - but some snags have caused this to be delayed. We hope to resolve all issues soon so you can check out some of the latest features! Read more about what 24.3 is all about in the release notes.

Facing same issue with https://in.appian.community/ since Aug 17. Any idea when this is going to be up?

Yes, seems it is down. Maybe some maintenance activity is going on. As suggested by [mention:44bed26f1d96482687e4003414c7d8ec:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05], send mail.

Greg is it safe to assume that the official communications when the CE would be down would be just the "down for maintenance" page? Asking so our team can plan in advance what to do on particular dates when CE would be down

That's the standard "down for maintenance" page. It's back up now, and as Greg mentioned, is now on 24.3.
