What is the meaning of "Execution Engine Balancing"?

Hello,

I am currently studying process modeling.

From the Documentation site,

"Execution Engine Balancing" appears in the <comparing ways to start a process from a process> in the <Ways to Start a Process>,

and there are "same engine" and "balanced" listed next to it.

link: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.2/Ways_to_Start_a_Process_From_a_Process.html

Can anyone provide further explanation on this part?

Thank you!!

Appian runs multiple process execution engines. Balanced means that load is distributed on all of them.
