Deprecated Excel tools plugin

If it is deprecated, you should look for an alternative.

The other deprecated smart services in Excel Tools have continued working correctly for at least 5 years since they were deprecated.  Make of that what you will.

We encountered a similar situation while using the "com.appiancorp.analytics.excel_export" plugin. It had been functioning without any issues, but noticed that displaying a warning indicating that it is no longer listed on the Appian AppMarket. The message also recommended removing it from your environment after confirming that there are no dependencies.
So this suggests that deprecated plug-ins may eventually be unlisted from the Appian AppMarket.

To address this, we proactively remediated our code by transitioning to the Appian out-of-the-box (OOTB) smart service, "Export Data Store Entity to Excel" to avoid any potential issues in the future.

Appian recommends not to use the deprecated plugins as they can cause unexpected failures anytime! So better to explore alternatives and replace as early as possible. You can discuss with Appian support team for a suitable replacement if it doesn’t exist yet.
