Still even after the node in the process model was configured as "Run as who ever designed the process" says - com.appiancorp.suiteapi.process.exceptions.SmartServiceException: java.lang.Exception: User xxxx is not a System Administrator. Well, then the designer is no sys admin. Did you check that? BTW, the designer in this context is the person doing the last deployment.
