Keeping selected data in a dialog if I close and reopen the dialog

Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to retain the data selection I make in an interface that I invoke in a dialog when I close and reopen the dialog. I had found an Appian plugin that handles these activities with cookies or something similar, but I can't seem to find it again. Can anyone help me?
