What does the PDF Options input on PDF From DOCX Smart Service do?

Hi all,

I have a problem converting bolded words from docx to pdf using PDF from DOCX Smart Service. Bolded words have special characters(need to use UTF-8). Is there a way to do this using this smart service(pdf options)?
