Alternative to AT&T Email-to-Text Service for Messaging

One of our customers has a requirement to send messages to students. Currently, we use AT&T's email-to-text feature to send these messages via email. However, AT&T is deprecating its email-to-text and text-to-email services, which means we’ll no longer be able to send or receive SMS messages using email. We're looking for alternative approaches to achieve the same functionality within or alongside Appian.
Has anyone faced a similar challenge or implemented a different method for sending SMS notifications from Appian?
