Archive Process model

A process model is configured to archive after 7 days. Its instances are completed but they wont be archived till 7 days. Now the process model is configured to archive after 0 days. Now it will be archived the moment the process instance is completed. Will this change affect only the latest instances or it will affect the old completed instances as well??

Thanks

This will affect all instances.

[mention:a11f77a729fb4db2af76b09948583328:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] I did a small check. Its not behaving that way.
I ran a process having 7 archive days. Its now completed. Then I made archival change to 0 days and published the pm. Then I ran one new instance. That particular instance got archived the moment it completed. But the one which was completed previously is not archived. Its still present. Am i Missing anything here?

I do not test this frequently, but I remember that I saw the behaviour I described.

But, to be honest, I think this is not much of a deal. Do you have a specific reason to investigate this?
