Change Send Account Creation Email template

Hello,

I am using Appian 21.4 On Cloud version and I have a process that creates an Appian account and in the smart node "Create User"  the parameter "Send Account Creation Email" is active.

Is there any possibility to do some changes to that template (to add some additional information), if yes, how can it be done?

Thank you!

AFAIK this is not possible. Depending on your requirements, you could send a second email including that information.

You call roll your own email, and you can "suppress" the OOTB email by initially setting the user's email address to a fictitious email, and then updating their account to their real email.

You also don't have to send to a fictitious email address first anymore! There's now a boolean parameter that determines whether to send an email or not on creation.

Well, that's new to me! Every day is a school day! Thanks for that

Hi Andrei,

I see a protentional solution for your use case. We have a plugin smart service Create User With i18n available in appmarket to create new users. This smart service is available in Personalization Utilities plugin. This smart service allow you to set username, temp password also additional values. This smart service won't send any account creation email, since you set username and password for this user account you can use Appian Email notification Smart service to send custom email notification with your account details.

You can find this plugin here https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/personalization-utilities
