detect undelivered emails

The final delivery of any email is outside the scope of the sending system. There is no reliable way to detect whether an email was received.

If the mail is undelivered, I guess it returns to the original sender with a specific subject. You can catch these emails in via email polling and then do the necessary processing. 
NOTE: You need to use the subject and body to identify these type of emails.
