Error in process with the plugin for excel

We do have a process model in place; however, we encountered an error while working with the Excel plugin.

The node that uses the Export to Excel function is throwing the following error:


"The following error was raised by the Export to Excel function:  Your InputStream was neither an OLE2 stream, nor an OOXML stream" 

This issue appears to be new, as we did not face any problems earlier.

    What excel plugin are you referring to specifically?  Excel Tools, or something else?  Likewise, which smart service are you referring to when you say "Export to Excel"?  There are a few different options that are similar, but none that I know of with that name exactly (unless it's in a plug-in i'm unfamiliar with, which is possible).

    Can you share screenshots of your configuration of the node, as well as of the state of your PV data (or anything else relevant) as referenced by the node?

    Clear the document template parameter if you accidentally set it.
    This usually happens if the source file got corrupted or is empty.

    Has the plugin you're using been recently updated? That could be a reason why it just "stopped working".

    I've only ever seen this error a long time ago when working with Excel's older format (i.e. xls instead of xlsx). If you're also using xls format, a workaround might be to modernize the workflow to use xlsx.
