Question

How to find the duplicate instances from Monitoring tab

Hi,

In our application users have initiated actions many times to upload a file due to some integration issue for file upload. Issue has been resolved.

Now the support guys have been asked to trigger the instances from Monitoring.

Now the problem is if we trigger blindly without seeing we may end up running multiple instances for same file upload and it may lead to file duplicate issue in the integrated system.

Could someone tell easy method to trigger only one instance for the same request?(I do not want to open each instance and see and then run. It will take time)

Thanks

Faisal

Hi [mention:56cb3e8fc3724baca774072c99d7f8ca:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] - If Process Display Name is not defined in a way to dynamically display the unique instance i.e. based on file name then i don't think we can avoid triggering duplicate instances unless we open each instance and see the data.

    hi faisal,
depending on how many instances you want to check:
A task report could be suitable.

but this costs some time and perhaps checking your instances is quicker. so you have to decide by youself.
