pp!designer is returning as one who started the process

Hi All,

I have a scenario where a process model is updated by "Person A" and that process is started by "Person B". When i try to get pp!initiator and pp!designer, am getting "Person B" as value for both. As per my knowledge "Person A" should be pp!designer.

Can anyone explain why this  happened? Thanks in Advance.

Are any of the nodes configured to run as whoever designed this Process Model?

    All nodes are inside swimlane where assignment is "run as whoever designed the process model".

    pp!designer should be an instance-level value - in other words the setting on a particular swim lane should not make any difference.

    I just tried this on a process instance report and it resolves correctly for me (i.e. the "designer", or rather the service account that published the PM in prod, is shown in all instances for the PM in question).
