Process Model comparison with previous version is throwing error as version deleted or doesnt exist

Question

Process model is newly added with Write Records of a new record type recently created and when comparing with previous version which doesnt have this record type in dev it is throwing attached error. Anyone faced this issue?

When comparing process model versions where the newer version references objects (record type) that didn't exist when the older version was created.
Seems to be expected behavior.
