Hi, is there a way to get the failed process model instances via an expression rule, like a function or something?

    Currently, there isn't a direct function or expression rule available to retrieve failed process model instances. However, you can configure alerts within the process model to notify recipients or groups when a process instance fails.

    Thank you, Do you know how to set up an escalation on a process when it fails? I know how to configure the escalation but I don't know how to set up the condition so that when it's met (the process fails) the escalation can be applied.

    You can create a process model report and apply a filter on the process status column. See some sample pre-built reports for reference:
