Slow process invocations using start process smart service async

Hi,

We are experiencing slowness in processes calling other processes using start process smart service asynchronously.

Its taking 1-4 seconds in some cases just to invoke the process using start process smart service.

Has anyone experienced this kind of a behavior while using start process.

No, it does not take that much time. You will find many discussions on the topic of node execution time vs. actual code execution time.

And even if, nobody is waiting for that process and Appian needs a way to queue and scale process execution.
