Task Assignment Error

For a parallel process flow, if I am sending a task to 2 users in a group, and if the 2nd user of the group approves the task before the first user does, the task of the first user is getting automatically assigned to the second user again. What could be the possible reason for this?

Hi, if we assign a task to a group the user who accepts the task first becomes the task owner, to assign task individually to each user check this https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/23.1/Process_Model_Recipes.html

But it is in a parallel process, and if the first user of the group accepts and approves the task first, the second user can still get to approve the task, i.e. it is functioning just how it should be, but only when  the 2nd user accepts the tasks first, this error is causing.

In this case the 2nd user becomes the Task Owner because of in parallelly assigning the task the one who is opens first, that one becomes the Task owner for the task. Until and unless you are using complex gate way in the process model by configuring like after both users completed then only it has to reach End node.
