XML handling failure

Question

I have a process model in which I'm using a start process. 
Problem: The process model inside start process is working fine but the main process which uses start process have few problems:
1) Even though latest version is published by me but this PM is still running on draft version
2) Error:
 
in many PM I saw that the PM's latest version is published but it is running on an older version.Please provide a solution

As usual, we need way more details to be able to support you.

1) "PM is still running on draft version": What exactly do you mean with this? Appian only initiates the last published version of a process. Except you use the "Start for Debugging" function.

2) Did you make sure that all involved models have a published version?
