I have access to an external mysql database.

I am able to connect using: command line in linux, windows, workbench, etc. Also no issues with the IP from the caller.

When I try to create a Connected System using MySQL datasource definition it always fail to connect.

But if I change the DataSource to MariaDb it all works fine, even if it is a MySQL Database.

This seems weird. Maybe for now you can work with MariaDB selected and raise a support ticket with Appian?

Hi,

Make sure your providing connection string is correct values. Also, re-verify provide user username and password is right(DB access user account).

I am pretty sure that all parameters are fine.

I think, It is indeed a problem with the connector on the Appian side.
