Go back to the list view from summary view

Pls suggest me a way to go back to the record list view from a summary view.

    If it is a stand-alone record list added to the site page then why not just click on the site tab again?
    Or if you have a direct URL of the page where this record will be visible, then you can add a link on your page under every tab (make it generic) so clicking on it can take you back to the original URL.

    Actually Harshit, it is neither a standalone record list, nor a direct url for the record list page is available. I simply need to go back to the interface from where i came to the summary view. It is that kind of a scenario.

    What about using the back button from the browser window?
