Importing data into Appian from External systems and store it in DB ??

Hi All,

I have requirement to get the data from an external systems and import into Appian. Firstly, I need to get data from the external source and later need to store in Appian Db .

How can be this achieved??

    I think we need a lot more information to be able to help you. How are you getting the information from the other systems? API? Flat File? Excel Import? What does the data structure look like? Is it consistently the same columns that you want to import? Do you just need to do a single import or do you need to import the data on a schedule?

    From API and the columns will be same and it is single import

    Ok when you say "store in Appian DB" what does that mean? Like is this data that you're using as reference data for other items in your apps? Or are you just hoping to use Appian as an ETL tool to migrate your data from one system to another? Also what kind of API are you using? Likely for an API you will at least need to start by creating an integration object to access data from your external system.
