Maximum records to export in Export data store entity to excel

Hi All,

Is there any Upper limit of Maximum records which we can export in the Export Data store entity to excel smart service. If so what is the limit.

we are having around 200000 (2 hundred thousand records). Can i export all the data into the data store entity at a single shot.

    Hi there,

    There isn't any such limit defined in the documentation. However, there are some more workarounds for this. 

    1. You can batch the data into smaller parts and then export them. 
    2. You can use the export to excel from the record - https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.1/Optimizing_Record_Lists_for_Export_to_Excel.html#:~:text=to%20Excel%20functionality%3A-,In%20the%20record%20type%2C%20go%20to%20List.,Under%20URL%2C%20click%20the%20link

    Hi Harsha,

    Not so sure about the exact limit, but exporting 200k records will definately impact your application performance. Is it a business requirement ? how frequent this export is going to happen?
