You cannot add anything except text in the record title. If you try to add an icon or a display component, it will not error out but the text fragments of the components will be displayed.

Thank you alll. Same for views name aswell right...we cannot add any icons or images on record view names?

You could also create your own custom Record View using URL parameters in lieu of the built in Record Views.
