Tyring to use Record Type Events

When I try to add a Record Type Event it is impossible to add history and event type names :

anaything I insert in those field get erased

Hi there, these are the names of the records that will be generated to store the event history and the types of events. In my case, It is prepopulating with recordName+Event History & Event Type. So try to generate the event record type again. 
For more info go through this, I believe this can solve the mentioned issue.

Thanks for the reply; Actually the issue is that it doens't generate them and it doesn't allow me to set custom ones manually... I'd would like to know what the root cause of this behaviour

I found your issue somehow strange, and I don't have any logical explanation for this issue, but I would suggest creating a record type from scratch and then generating the event record types again.
