Write existing data using write records

Hi all,

I have in assumption that to write existing data into db using write record SS we only need the primary id and the field which need to be updated. But i am getting error  as there are couple of columns which were marked as required, so i have to add those columns as well along with primary key when using write records .

Can anyone suggest if am missing anything or this is how it will work?
