When i re-assign task to particular user then the status is still remains to assigned not the accpeted untill that person open the task, is this a functionality or task or a bug?

In case of a single user assignment, "accepted" means "opened the first time", or, from a business perspective, "accepted for taking ownership". Does that make sense?

This is how it works , its not a bug. it will be in assigned status until someone accepts it.

    accepted button is only visible when we assign to group not to particular user is their is not accepted button for single user then why status is assigned not accepted?

    yes you are right, so if a task is assigned to a group then users of that group will see accept button  because owner is not specified yet ,as nobody has accepted. If any of the group member accepts then that person becomes the owner and status gets changed to "accepted" and no other members will be able to work on that task but if you reassign the task to a particular user then "accept" button does not make sense as this task is dedicated to that particular user only. nobody else is going to accept it. so status will be assigned.
