Mail action in Appian RPA

Hi 

     I have created a robotic task, in that I want to configure an action for sending mail. I didn't find any action for sending mail. Do we have any action for that in Appian RPA robotic task. If their is no particular action for this then how can i achieve my requirement.

    This is an action that is typically implemented in an Appian process instead of RPA.

    I am really confused why does Appian have same capabilities available in Appian designer workflow management and Appian RPA?

    For example, scheduling of the jobs can be done through Appian workflow management via agent but I see that using RPA also we can do the same. 

    Could please help me understand exactly what scenario or use cases Appian RPA is used versus Appian workflow management

    IMHO, Appian processes are the core of your workflow orchestration. RPA is only used to bridge to any system or data source that does not have any proper means of integration like an API.

    Hi Imayavathi,

    You can achieve through START PROCESS action in RPA.
