KB-1603 Unable to view documents that existed in /designer after upgrading to Appian 18.1

Symptoms

After upgrading to Appian 18.1, users are not able to see some of the document folders in /design.

Cause

As part of the Appian 18.1 release, the "Documents" tab in /designer was removed. This change caused users to be unable to search for specific Knowledge Centers and Reports present within those Knowledge Centers.

This issue has been resolved via AN-105386 in the following hotfixes/versions:

• Appian 18.1 Hotfix D
• Appian 18.2 Hotfix A

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
